Loop electrosurgical excision procedure, or LEEP, is a procedure to remove abnormal cells from your cervix or vagina. The procedure is performed by your doctor with the help of a small wire loop. The loop is heated by an electric current to make it similar to a surgical knife to remove cells and tissues from your cervix or vagina.

  • Dilation and Curettage (D&C)

  • Diagnostic and Operative Hysteroscopy

Hysteroscopy is a minor surgical procedure used for diagnosis and/or treatment of various conditions of the uterus. In this procedure, a thin telescopic instrument called a hysteroscope is inserted into the uterus through the vagina to view the internal structures for diagnosing or treating conditions. The camera in the hysteroscope projects the images onto the large television screen thereby helping the surgeon to view the internal structures.

  • Uterine Ablation

Endometrial ablation is a procedure to destroy (ablate) your uterine lining, also referred to as the endometrium. This is the lining that sheds to cause menstrual bleeding. Ablation may reduce or stop the menstrual flow completely. The procedure does not involve any cuts or incision.

  • Diagnostic and Operative Laparoscopy

Diagnostic laparoscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to examine the organs inside the abdomen or pelvis. It helps diagnose unexplained symptoms or conditions when non-invasive methods like ultrasound or CT scan are inconclusive.

  • Hysterectomy
