  • Uterine Fibroids

Uterine fibroids are non-cancerous (benign) tumors, commonly seen in women of childbearing age. Fibroids are composed of muscle cells and other tissues. They develop in and around the wall of the uterus or womb. Uterine fibroids are usually round or semi-round in shape. Uterine fibroid embolization is a minimally invasive procedure in which the blood supply to the fibroid area is blocked by injecting tiny particles into the supplying arteries. This reduces the size of the fibroids to relieve symptoms.

  • Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a common gynecological problem affecting women of reproductive age. It occurs when the tissues of the uterus start growing on surfaces of other organs in the pelvis. Endometrium may grow on ovaries, fallopian tubes, an outer surface of the uterus, pelvic cavity lining, vagina, cervix, vulva, bladder or rectum. Patients may experience painful cramps in the lower abdomen, back or in the pelvis during menstruation, heavy menstrual bleeding, painful bowel movements or urination and infertility.

  • Ovarian Cysts

Ovarian cysts are sacs filled with fluid that form inside or on the ovaries. Ovarian cysts are very common and often don't have any symptoms. They are usually harmless and may disappear without treatment.

  • Cervical Dysplasia (Abnormal Pap Results)

Cervical dysplasia means there are abnormal changes in the cells on the surface of the cervix. These changes are usually found through a Pap test (Pap smear). Cervical dysplasia is not cervical cancer, but in some cases, abnormal cells can develop into cancer over time if left untreated.

  • Vulvar Disorders

The vulva is the external part of the female genital area. It includes the outer and inner lips (labia), the clitoris, the opening of the urethra, and the vaginal opening. The vulva protects the internal reproductive organs and is involved in sexual response and urination.
